My Personal job application
story.
Just saw a job ad for a communications officer.
It is a dream job for me.
Of course, I have not got a chance in hell
BUT thought, Id give it a shot as a sort of personal exercise.
SO I went along and filled what I could in,
Had nothing relevant to add to previous employment,
experience and could not produce any meaningful references.
So already, I have failed even the first screening
process,
But at the end, they asked for a personal statement
and I was rather pleased with what I put, which I will share with you now.
********
Hello!
My personal creative work speaks for
itself far louder than I can summarise here,
Blog address is here,
https://lombot.blogspot.com/
However I am not, merely, ‘just creative,’
I have an innate intuition for translating
“Media Packs” and other relevant
statistical information into a targeted message product.
Of course,
this entails filtering and spotting relevant information in the first place, which
again I have an innate “feeling” for.
Witting and Design Samples can be found
on my personal Blog.
Again here,
https://lombot.blogspot.com/
I am well aware that being chosen for an
interview is highly unlikely to the point of this entire process is almost delusional.
After all,
I have no references, previous experience or professional
contacts.
Even if
you have read this far down you must be feeling
that I am wasting your valuable time.
However, although I would
be overjoyed to get this position, it is
Not the current ‘target’ of this application.
This is more a shot in the dark to order
to try and get someone relevant to review my creative blog content in order to secure any other creative, or communication-based employment offers either
with yourself or anyone else you happen to know.
(NOTE: I am happy to offer these sort of creative
and marketing insight for free for any registered charities you may know of.)
Sure the chances are unlikely but then
again so are the chances of winning the lottery,
(Also known as “A tax on people who are
bad at math”).
Despite everything, I believe I have a significantly better odds taking ‘this shot’
than I do of winning the Lottery!
And taking ‘This shot’ is free.
So why would I not take ‘that shot’ and
‘Have a go’?
PS
Do not forget to look at,
******
What do you lot all think of the
attempt?
