There are rumours circulating that there will be far less objectifying in future MCU films.

If all objectifying in fantasy escapist films is bad,

Then does that mean that future MCU films will start having a policy of NO longer coming up with half-arsed excuses to have all the male heroes take their shirts off at some point?

If so my poor Wife will be so terribly disappointed!

It is both normal and ok for my Wife to like looking at shirtless superheroes.
(This is not a male misogynistic husband granting permission, it is a self-evident fact!)

It is ok both normal and ok for all Women to enjoy looking at shirtless Male superheroes.

It is ok both normal and ok for all gay and bisexual Men to enjoy looking at shirtless Male superheroes.

BUT

It is ok both normal and ok for all us Men to enjoy looking at scantily clad Female superheroes.

It is ok both normal and ok for all lesbian and bisexual Women to enjoy looking at scantily clad Female superheroes.

Taking people personal choices away, however, is sinful and wrong.

Everyone has the right to say "NO" at any point with anything they become uncomfortable with.

But everyone also has the right to say "YES" to stuff that harms no one else!

Remember and do not forget that Fanasty and Sci-Fi Films are all about fun and immature wish fulfilment,

And while you are all debating the realism of whether the Female superhero in question, 'would' or 'would not' show so much skin,

Remember that there is no realism in throwing a bus one-handed at the supper villain while flying unaided either!
