GEEK ATTACK!
MCU!
STARK TRUTHS!
.
No one has worked out that Howard Stark may have used various experimental methods to have greatly increase Toney's natural intelligence to superhuman levels.
.
Tony is unknowingly one of the first Enhanced-Humans!
.
.
Even Tony himself has not worked that out yet!
.
To me, it seemed a bit super obvious since I saw both the Captain America and Iron Man 2 films!
.
It was only a very recent conversation with a fellow fan and friend that made me realise that no one else might have realised this!
.
As I can foresee some fans losing their shit over this theory, I grade each bit of evidence on a quality scale!
.

As I can foresee some fans losing their shit over this theory, I grade each bit of evidence on a quality scale!
.
.
C = Circumstantial only 0.5 point,
.
P = Plausible worth 1 point
.
D= Definitely suspicious 2 points
.
A = Absolutely certain 3 points.
.
.
I reckon a decent case will need at least 6 points in total, although I am going to aim for 10.
.
.
Evidence 1)
.
Howard Stark was one of the major contributors to the Super Soldier Project that created Captain America.
.
He is highly likely to view intellect as worth far more than the super strength and agility design parameters he was given.
.
The counterpoint to evidence 1)
.
He was one of the major allied engineers of his time, who else could they possibly chose instead!
.
I grade this evidence as only a (C)
.
Current total only 0.5 points, pitiful!
.
.
Evidence 2)
.
There was a deep friendship with Nick Fury and Howard Stark,
.
(Mentioned in Iron Man 2 in the dinner!)
.
The counterpoint to evidence 2)
.
Who the hell does not know Nick Fury?
.
I grade this evidence as the only C
.
Current total only 1 point, still pitiful!
.
.
Evidence 3
.
The overnight reading list Tony mentions as he walks into the Hele carrier room to meet all the collected Avengers for the first time.
.
There is at least three intense study weeks worth there,
.
(Out of the books in the list that actually exist in real life, or their obvious real-life contemporaries that had titles slightly changed for copy write reasons.)
.
The counterpoint to Evidence 3.
I reckon a decent case will need at least 6 points in total, although I am going to aim for 10.

.
The counterpoint to Evidence 3.
.
Eidetic memory is a real thing,
.
It seems a little bit of a stretch perhaps, (ish)
.
"Did no one else do the reading?"
.
Tony Stark, Avengers Assemble,
.
I grade this Evidence as
.
P = Adding one point, the total is now 2, sort of only a "Meh!" score
.
.
Evidence 4)
.
Building (admittedly with help) his first arc reactor in a cave out of scrap and jerry-rigging!
.
A counterpoint to evidence 4)
.
Oh, come on! You can not seriously count the origin story! That does not count!
.
I grade this evidence as P adding one more point, Total now of 3, still nothing special.
.
"Tony Stark made this in a cave!"
.
"But I am not Toney Stark!"
.
Iron Man 1
.
.
Evidence 5
.
He is at a party out to get laid, he is drunk and at a party mood, and as a mere idle distraction, he doodles on a napkin absentmindedly and in doing so unlocks the entire Iron Man 3 villain plot!
.
This places a solution to someones life's work!
.
This is not a mere new Cookie Recipe!
.
While both Drunk and Horny and not really trying!
.
That has is graded as evidence level D for 2 points!
.
Total so far 5,
.
Err Um! You are kinda getting close your minimum needed of 6 there Ross!
.
.
.
Evidence 6)
.
Making a mini Haydon collider to create a New Elemental Particle in Iron Man 2
.
Just by using a few pipes and a spirit level he got the magnetic shielding perfectly balanced using a standard spirit level!
.
WTF!
.
That has to be graded and evidence level D for 2 points!
.
Now I have 7 solid points!
.
.
Evidence 7)
.
Howard Stark had worked out the theoretical existence of a particle that could potentially save the world and provide clean energy!
.
" A LIGHT FOR THE WORLD! "
.
But he was limited by his time of historical existence.
.
So he hid the knowledge needed about the existence of the undiscovered element in expo model.
.
BUT
.
How could he definitely be sure that his Son Tony would have the brilliance to decipher the code and unlock the knowledge?
.
(Remember Nick Fury provided the tapes, so he probably knew exactly what was on them, keeping them safe until Toney was ready!)
.
Maybe the idea of experimenting on your own son is totally horrendous Dick move, but Howard was also a sort of Heroic figure that would do what was necessary to save a future world!
.
The cost of your Son vs. The Whole rest of the future of the human race!
.
What would a proper Hero do with such a choice?
.
The counterpoint to Evidence 8
.
I would love to have ended on a slam dunk of nice 3 whole points but I have to admit that certain bits there are shaky.
.
Howard like Tony also had a huge ego,
.
It is almost equally likely that the risk of Tony not becoming a genius like himself might never even occur to him!
.
He could afford the best schools for his son Tony available,
.
That along with his ego might have meant that could have simply fully expected Tony to have a brilliant mind and totally take that fact for granted.
.
I will despite hating myself a little for it, have to only give this evidence value of only D, only 2 points.
.
But that still means a total number of points of 9.
.
.
Conclusion.
.
For me personally, 6 points are enough but I managed 9.
.
However, I still feel there is room for others to doubt and debate my theory because I did not manage to get an all-powerful (to my mid) full 10 points.
.
