The Main character is a very wise Alien religious leader called Thanos. . Thanos is the misunderstood real hero of the film that actually has some practical common sense! . Do not let anyone else tell you otherwise! . The tragic part is that he has to sacrifice his own beloved daughter to save the population of the universe from themselves. . (A bit like how Christians believe God sacrificed his own Son to save us all, )  . A load of stupid immature people with no wisdom, vision or proper foresight try and stop him. . Do not worry though, the good guy manages to win in the end despite being unfairly outnumbered!. . So the film does manage to have a happy ending! . !
