! . Thoughts on my upcoming PIP interview. Version 1, April 5th 2019 . . INTRODUCTION! . I am getting a PIP (Personal Independence Payment) Interview this Tuesday the 9th. . This seems a little odd considering that I only put my application on the 25th of March, . Most people are talking about how it can take up to 8 weeks for such an interview and a further 6 for a decision. . Due to the large number of applications the government target for an application clearance has been set back to 17 weeks. . But I get my interview given within only 15 days of my application landing on their doormat. . Weird! Right? . This leads to two possible conclusions. . A) . That a governmental department has become well organised and efficient. . Or . B) . That I am part of a batch that is being fast-tracked for rejection to help clear the workload quickly so a badly run system can manage to make their new extended target. . Totally ignoring the fact that each application represents a human beings
