I am trying to RE-START my old debating page!

This is a debating group. (Please excuse the title pun). It is for intelligent discussion and debate of all subjects!

While I personally have strong left-wing liberal views you can NOT have a debate without opposing opinions, SO unlike some other groups (to order allow the group to achieve its function), We WILL allow Racism, homophobia and other things I personally find abhorrent.
.
BUT that does not simply give a free licence!
.
IF YOU SAY something contentious then you will be expected to give a REASONED argument and if necessary, site source material (Try and Site an actual respected published academic book NOT just Wikipedia).
.
You do NOT need to have a certain level to education to enter a debate, all reasoned views are welcome. BAD SPELLING OR GRAMMER DOES NOT! REPEAT! NOT INVALIDATE SOMEONE's ARGUMENT!
.
You will NOT get chucked out nor have any of your posts banned because of their views.
.
You will only be penalised for resorting to personal insults and attacks on other members,
.
(Including attacking an argument based only of grammar and spelling rather than the content of their argument!!)

This is NOT an Insult room!

Then enjoy continuing your debate on its new direction in its new post!

This will keep the original post ON TOPIC while allowing new and exciting directions or conversation in their own post!
