I am looking at extreme options IF the UK becomes the sort of country that make saving people a criminal offence...

Because IF that happened this would Not be My England anymore...

I'd be ashamed to be associated with it.

It is certainly a law I would wantingly disobey even with the new life sentence for doing it!
.
The most extreme non-violent option in protest that I can presently think of, is to Revoke My British Citizenship.
.
I do not have a second nationality so revoking my citizenship would make me voluntarily stateless,
.
So, I would lose NHS access, National Pension, and any Social Security Benefits etc. etc.
.
I know what the personal cost would be.
.
But I am too enraged, to care!
.
Make no mistake

I do Not consider myself or my own well-being important compared to the larger scheme of things.

I Would do it if this country slides much further towards the Racist Ruthless Right Wing.

We have a Female Cuntservative MP of foreign descent who weirdly enough has been the cause of some of the biggest obstacles of both Female rights and Racial Minority Rights.

I am almost certain that if posed some form of Turing test equivalent that she would rate results as a white “gammon” man, in a cunning disguise.

Don’t get me wrong

I am not spouting a “She should be an ambassador for her gender and people” crap

She has as much right to be simply herself as much as anyone else,

But it still seems pretty weird.

Take the new upcoming Government New Nationality and Borders Bill
.
(At the time of writing – 2nd Sept 2021 - it was at the committee stage, after the second house of common reading - )
.
Under this new Bill
.
You could be sentenced up to 14 years to Life Imprisonment for saving an illegal immigrant struggling off UK shores from drowning and bringing them to shore.
.
In comparison, the Maximum sentence for extreme tax evasion is only 7 years and an unlimited fine.
.
The average sentence is only 2 years.
.
At the time of writing, no provision had yet been made for sea rescue services such as the RLNI
.
BUT even IF such a provision for rescue service was made,
.
Then any fisherman seeing a non-British family with young children struggling on a makeshift raft would be prosecuted for helping fellow human beings – EVEN if they were in immediate peril!
.
WTF!!
.
And I feel (I can not prove this, so I hope I am wrong) that in today's more toxic England, they could find a court jury that would find them guilty!
.
I have sent this letter to her office,
(So more lining for her cats' litter tray then…)
.
However, we all know a penny in a fucking wishing well would be far more likely to achieve shit!

All I can do is rant at a county I used to love as it slowly devours its own soul.
Then rubs its belly and goes,
“Yummy”

And for what?

For a pocket full of jingoism and few votes a the expense of human decency.
