And the next Soho will not be called Soho
It might not even be in this country
Without labouring a statement of the obvious too much.

Remember.
That counterculture may be called ‘counterculture’
But in reality,
‘Counterculture’ has Never really been ‘counterculture’
It is instead mainstream culture fertiliser
Destined to be re-absorbed back into the mainstream and make it grow
.
But a new supply of counter-culture fertiliser will inevitably rise again somewhere
.
It is unlikely to be recognised for what it is
until our middle-aged grandchildren morn in syrupy misty-eyed nostalgia for it.

But there will always be some form of Soho
Either that

Or all our mainstream culture will simply waste away and die!

So, While it is true that you personally ‘might’ have lost ‘a’ Soho
.
Soho itself can never be lost to humanity!

It was more than just its "Gay Contingent"

"If" part of the reason for the "Fall of 'this' Soho" was because being Gay has now become far less, so-called "Counter Culture,"

"If" being Gay has now instead, become far more accepted and far more so-called "Mainstream",

If being just Gay, 
is simply, 
No Longer such a 
"Big Deal"
