Life is pain and regret, it is the price we choose to pay for having any empathy and giving two shits about other people.
Yes, most modern marriages end in divorce.
This is a sad truth.
I much worse truth is that all the other marriages end in death!
All those couples that stay together to the end,
One of them will have to live with the horrendous pain of losing the centre of their entire world after 10, 25 maybe even 50 years of being together!
No love story has a happy ending ! Ever!
(Maybe super rarely if they both die in a car or plane crash together.)
But that does not mean we should all stop valuing, wanting and embracing love.
This is a sad truth.
