Ignore Mr Johnson's blockbusters where he has to play to his established market and instead look at his slightly less well know stuff such as "Be Cool" (The sequel to "Get Shorty ") . Mr Johnson has excellent comic timing for line delivery. . Some actors have to rely on snap conversation edits to get that effect, . But he does it in extended non-cut conversation scenes, . So we know it is not just formed by skilful editing! . And comedy is one of the hardest things to successfully play, in some select ways, much harder than drama! . !
